We had a lovely stay which felt very homely. The house is a 20-minute walk to the closest Tube station which was fairly convenient. It’s less than 10-minute walk to Lloyd Park which had a wonderful Saturday morning market (great vegan bakery stall). The kitchen is really well equipped and spacious. The kitchen/diner and into the living room made it a lovely space to cook, eat and catch up with family at the same time. Older adults found the downstairs wetroom floor slippy and the upstairs bath slippy to stand in for a shower - just a consideration if you aren’t very stable standing.

The property was beautiful and clean! The home owners were so polite and quick in responding back to my messages. I loved the natural lighting while cooking in the home. The AC was great upstairs where we all slept, and the backyard was beautiful. We met some super friendly and helpful folks. The diversity of communities around us were great and very helpful/welcoming. I enjoyed cooking for my boys in the home and the jacuzzi tub is a life saver from walking all day in town!! Thank you for such a great opportunity and experience!
Liked less: We ran out of tissue towards the end of the stay, and there was no lighting on the back porch to eat outside at dinner time. If you are walking from Blackhorse or St James train station, it’s no stroll, so if you have a lot of luggage, be prepared for the walk and some rough patches pulling your suitcase, or just use the bus transportation.

We stayed at this house for 9 days. It was a great stay. It is a beautiful home, with lots of amenities and it was very easy to get in touch with the hosts and receive quick feedback. We would definitely recommend the house.
